In 'i-485 Blanket' the viewer finds the subject laying under a blanket, created from a collage of ripped up immigration documentes, which were image transferred on to a gel medium. This piece touches on the subject of immigration and is symbolic of the internal feelings I experienced while navigating the complicated immigration system in the US. At the same time, the audio is of my mother speaking to me about her views on our home country.
